This novel was so good. Colleen Hoover did it again. Her books always make me cry. It sent me through all the emotions for sure!

The characters were all just so great. Even the one person that I should have hated, Kenna, I loved. I wish that we would have seen more of the parents. Other than that, I think the book was just great.

I thought the character, Ledger, was a little shady at first. I am not sure if a person would have been so forgiving or went against so many people. There really wasn’t much about Kenna that would have him keep being drawn to her. I just did not feel the heat between them. But I did like his character even after all of that.

I liked how complex Kenna was in the book. The letters to her boyfriend really hit home. It was her grief and guilt all working into those letters. Then on top of that not being able to hold her baby before it was taken. I could feel their emotional wounds for her. But you could also feel that with her parents.

The book kept me turning the pages. I finished this book rather quickly. I liked the two perspectives between Ledger and Kenna. I thought that was great as well.

The only thing that I wish was a trigger warning about the car accident scene. I lost my father in a car accident. I was not prepared for that scene at all. So if you lost a loved one to a car accident, be prepared. But I think the scene was hard on any person reading it.

Other trigger warnings: Death, car accident death, grief, prison, giving up a child, etc.
