2019 My Wrap Up in Books

I am not going to mention all 140 books that I read this year. I am going to mention the top 5 in graphics, top in fiction, and then honorable mentions in fiction, then my least favorite. I am omitting some novels though from this list. You can follow me on Goodreads for all the other books from this year!

Favorite Graphic Novels:

  • I finished the last 10 of “The Walking Dead” novels. It was bitter sweet, and I will miss the series a lot. The ending is not to be missed. The last novel is a must read for any Dead fan.
  • “This One Summer” by Mariko Tamaki
  • “They Called Us Enemy” by George Takei
  • “White Bird” by R. J. Palacio
  • “Good Talk: A Memoir in Conversations” by Mira Jacob

Top Fictions novels

  • I read the last 4 Harry Potter novels last January. It was the first time that I had ever read or seen the movies. Harry Potter really sucked me in. I am now a huge fan of the series. I cannot believe that I did not read these books prior. Needless to say, Harry Potter was my highlight from 2018 and spilled right into my 2019! I am now a Harry fan for life! Thanks for everyone for encouraging me to read these splendid novels.
