Another month with another clean page for Book News!

E. Lockhart’s books will be adapted for TV. The books will be We Are Liars, Family of Liars, and Again Again.

This is NOT political…. Michelle Obama will have a new book called The Light We Carry. It is due out in November 2022.

Bolu Babalola is writing a sequel to her hit book Honey and Spice.

Rupi Kaur will be writing a new poetry book. The title is Healing Through Words.

Neil Gaiman’s The Graveyard Book will be adapted for Disney.

Peter Dinklage will be starring in The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes

This Savage Song by Victoria Schwab will be adapted. It will be a movie.

Hush Hush by Becca Fitzpatrick will be adapted by Paramount +

Jenna Bush Hager is adapting The Feather Thief by Kirk Wallace johnson. It will be a series.

New Photo Book announced by Weird Al Yankovic. It is called Lights, Camera, Accordion!

Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts will be adapted into a series. It will be 12 episodes and star Charlie Hunnam. It will be on Apple Tv.

Lessons in Chemistry will be adapted for Apple TV.

The memoir From Scratch is being adapted for Netflix and out October 21st.

Devil in the White City by Erik Larson will be adapted. It will also star Keanu Reeses. It will be on Hulu.

Viola Dais joins the cast of The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.

A book is being written that is based on Shirley Jackson’s The Haunting of Hill House. Elizabeth Hand will be penning this novel!

Emily Henry is writing a new book called Happy Place.

R.L. Stein will write a comic book series called Stuff of Nightmares. It will be 4 issues.

The Other Black Girl by Zakiya Dalila Harris will be adapted to a series by Hulu!

Michael K. Williams’ memoir will be published soon. It is titled ScenesFrom My Life.

Ann Napolitano is penning a new book called Hello Beautiful. It is a modern-day adaption of Little Women.

Dope Thief by Dennis Tafoya will be adapted into an 8 part series for Apple TV. It will start Brian Tyree Henry and be called Sinking Spring.

My Best Friend’s Exorcism by Grady Hendrix will be adapted by Amazon Prime.

Geena Davis’ memoir is titled Dying pf Politeness” and will be released in the fall.
