Falling by T.J. Newman

Overall: 2.5 to 3 star review

Summary of Review:

If you want a quick read, pick this book up. It is action-packed from page one.

Summary:

A pilot to a plane is given a choice. He can crash the plane and save his family OR save the lives on the plane and his family dies.

The pilot’s wife and children have been kidnapped by a terrorist.

My Thoughts:

I enjoyed this book for the sole reason that it was action-packed. It was hard to put down and was a quick read. It was a rather short book as well. As the book progressed though, I got a little bored with it. Luckily, it was a short book.

I did not like the dialogue between the characters. I also thought the characters were flat. I barely knew them and did not care about what happened at the end.

This book would make a great C-rated movie. It was very predictable and had many cliches. When my husband saw the cover of the book, he basically told me the plot and characters of the book without reading a summary.

The writing style was not for me either. By the end of the novel, I had about enough of it… But kept reading just to know what happened at the end. It was just too short of a book not to find out.

This is T.J. Newman’s debut book. I will recommend this novel as well as read her next book though!

Conclusion:

If you want a quick and action-packed book, then this is the book for you!
