WOW! One year! To be honest, it feels as though it has been a lot longer than a year! I would not be here without having so many wonderful Book Nerds reading my blog! Thank you for reading my blog!
A big shout out to my husband for helping me along the way! If it was not for him, I would not have Book Nerd Alert!
I have posted 275 blog posts since the creation of my blog! I have wrote about 80 reviews on books and made about 50 lists of books for people to enjoy. I have created celebrity book guides and follow 9 celebrity book clubs. I have been updating everyone with upcoming book adaptions for TV and movies. I also have been posting book challenges, articles, and how to guides. Additionally, I keep everyone up to date on new and exciting book releases and ARCs.
This blog has really allowed me to share my love of books and reading! I remember when I was in school, I was always ashamed to read in front of others. I did not want to be negatively labeled as a Book Nerd. When I got my degree in college to become an English teacher, I realized that reading meant everything to me. I read and discuss books with people now. I read while in the waiting room at the Doctor’s office or on my lunch break at work. I still have those people who want to shame me for reading. But I am who I am; I am a Book Nerd. There is nothing wrong with that!
Reading and discussing books has led me to meet new friends, start a blog, be open-minded, and just enjoy my hobby so much more. The book community has really been a positive addition to my life. I want to give a moment to thank everyone!
