My thoughts:
This is a great mystery book. The book is a step up from a cozy mystery for sure. If you like cozy mysteries but want something a little less “fluffy,” then this is the book for you! I liked the writing style as well. It was a little crazy with everything that was happening in the story. But it all worked for this novel.
The characters were relatable. There were parts of the story where I laughed and/or was on the edge of my seat. The mystery aspect was great too! I enjoyed following the clues with the main character.
The plot was unique as well. It was like she was investigating a crime that she was involved in! HA! But it was a little too “over the top” for me. But overall, it was entertaining and a fun read!
I will read the sequel when it comes out!
Conclusion:
I really enjoyed this book. It was entertaining! I laughed and was on the edge of my seat at times. The characters were relatable as well.
Sequel news:
