Surprising book/movie adaptions

After reading “Rabbit Proof Fence,” I saw there was a movie adaption. I was shocked and rented it immediately afterward. This got me thinking about a lot of surprising book/movie adaptions that I had over the years! Here are some of the ones that I was shocked to see were based on books!
