Agatha Christie is one of the most famous detective/mystery writers! She wrote in the ’20s to the ’70s. Her works are still read and adapted to movies even today! Her formula for the “Who-Dun-Its” are great for a cozy mystery reading day! I have always enjoyed a good Christie novel. I remember reading them when I was in the 6th grade and just loving trying to solve the crime with the narrator! Clues are often gathered from plot twists and conversations from characters.
Most of her books do not need to be read in order. But typically starting from the beginning is helpful to be introduced to the detective/characters.

Miss Marple Novels
Jane Marple is an detective but also an elderly woman who lives in the village of St. Mary Mead. She never married, but never had to work to earn a living either. She is very smart. She sometimes does not even appear until half way through a novel. Her cases are typically in small villages.
