Anyone have any ideas for Reese?

Reese decided not to pick a book for October. She is going on tour for her new book. For the video, scan the QR code below. I am counting it as her book for this month though. I thought it was strange that we all did not spot a sticker. Tell me your thoughts on this below.
Based on the info I have, I’d say The Irish Goodbye and Heart the Lover are very likely. No promises, but you might have them on your radar.

I’ve already read The Irish Goodbye, and I liked it very much! It reminded me a lot of Tracey Lange’s novels. I highly recommend it, even if it isn’t picked by any book clubs. lol

Seems like Reese’s pick would be her new novel with Harlan Coben that comes out in a couple weeks. Just a guess!
I thought that too. She is already in production for a movie for that book

She has not in the passed with memoirs of her celebrity friends. I am assuming it could be or an older work. But she has thrown us off before.
Personally, I seriously doubt Reese will pick her own book. For 2 reasons: 1 – I don’t believe she would be that narcissist; and 2 – That book will only be published on the 14th, that’s the second Tuesday of the month. Historically, Reese picks new releases already set to be published on the first Tuesday of the month.
So, she is either choosing a new release which is already set to be published on October 7th (I just genuinely hope it won’t be the new Freida McFadden book haha – I don’t think she would do that, but..up until a few months ago I would say the same thing about Emily Henry…), or she’ll go for a backlist title this month.
Is it Bog Queen? That was under a story over the weekend on Reese’s book club app? It doesn’t come out until 10/14 though.
Is The Intruder by Freida McFadden too obvious for Reese to pick? I know she likes women authors and thrillers…
I was guessing that Alchemy of Secrets might be her pick. Has anyone seen a copy of this title yet? I know the author is very popular and this is her adult debut.

There is no October 2025 pick for Reese’s Book Club. Reese posted on her Instagram that she’s going on a book tour to promote her upcoming book with Harlan Coben, which is why there will be no pick this month.
To say I’m disappointed is an understatement.
I am very disappointed. There were many selections for this month.
I agree, I’m disappointed. I honestly felt like this was her picking her own book for the month without saying “My October pick is MY book!”
She cannot since she only picks women authors. She could have picked another LitUp selection or an older book.
I’m fine with her skipping. I am behind or the last few has not been my kind of reads. Her new book sounds fun!
I got an arc of her new book. I just have yet to start it.
While I am a little disappointed, I will say I have been looking forward to this book. It sounds good. And I’m also behind on reading her picks, so maybe this is a chance ro catch up. having said that, there were other options she could have picked for this month, or like you said – gone with an older book. it’s not like she personally manages the book clubs social media accounts to where she wouldn’t have time given her book tour. And she could have still promoted both books…
